Showtime Competition in Sherwood Park, Alberta  was very successful for our Int 2 and Senior dancers. We had a great weekend together on and off the stage.  Way to go everyone……you continue to make all of us proud of you !!

With only two week until Showtime everyone is busy preparing to present to everyone another unforgettable showcase of Dance Images talented dancers

Dancers have only one week of regular classes to go before rehearsal week…..attendance remains very important. We are blending all of our numbers as well as finishing up all choreography for our Big Recital numbers, dancers not in attendance will not have time to catch up with this being the last week of regular classes.

Rehearsal week schedule as well as recital info  have now gone out.. Please take time to go over all the info carefully. All notes as well as practice times are posted on the website calendar.

Dance Magic 2012 – "Believe In No Limits" will be held at Peacock Aud on Sat June 2nd  @ 6:30pm & Sun June 3rd @ 1pm. Tickets are going fast and are available through the studio office.  We are busy preparing to present another unbelievable showcase of the talent and hard work of the Dance Images dancers and staff.  

Family Appreciation Day - Monday June 4th from 5:00 – 7:00 at the dance studio. Food and refreshments will be provided. Dance Images recognizes and appreciates all the support and commitment from our dance families and we would like to extend our thanks by holding this event. Sign up at the studio if you plan to attend.

Pre-Registration, as well as Recital Volunteer sign up continues @ the studio. We are recruiting volunteers for Dance Magic. With having two performances, this enables parents to volunteer at one show and watch one. Remember Dance Images rewards it's volunteers by entering their name in the "Volunteer Appreciation Draw" held at recital. Registration continues .……Dancers and their families who are dancing at the studio and plan to return next season have the opportunity to Pre Register and secure their spot for next season.

Dance Craze 2012  brochures have gone out or are available by contacting the studio. We have a great line up of teachers. You wont want to miss this great week of dance Aug 7 – 10.  Kidventure brochures have gone out or are available by contacting the studio. These half days of fun are filled with games, crafts dance and more. Both girls and boys will love this program. July 24, 31 & Aug 14.

I am thrilled to announce the birth of my first grandchildren. Twins……a boy and a girl. Congratulations go out to my son Chris and his wife Jasmine. Our lives will be forever filled with love!!

Festival  was another great weekend of dance for our studio. All of our dancers did an outstanding job on and off the stage and we are proud of everyone.

Congratulations to group winners in the Mosaic Dance Challenge….Junior – Everafter, Senior Beautiful People. Great performances by Electric Pharaoh and Chorus Line.  As well congratulations go out to many over all award winners of scholarships. Close to $4000 dollars in scholarships was won by Dance Images Dancers.   Festival is a much higher caliber of dance and everyone should be pleased with our results. Many of our groups, solo's, duo's and trio's placed in the top three and on and off the stage everyone was fantastic. We are so proud of everyone 

Our Dance Express Troupe (Int 2 & Seniors) will be traveling to Sherwood Park Alberta, to attend Showtime Productions Dream Team competition. Good Luck to all of them. Stay on top of any revised schedules for May 7 – 12.

Group Pictures for our Pre Beginners take place Mon May 14th at Sooter Studios.  All envelope picture orders must be returned PRIOR to picture date to the dance studio.

Please remember how important attendance still is. Even though our routines are complete and we have been successful at competition, this does not mean we do not need to be in class. We have  lots to prepare, for Dance Magic 2012.
